Trying Softer with Our Pain: Healing After Spiritual Harm
In a world where we are often required to disconnect from our God-given bodies, minds, and spirits in order to survive trauma and abuse—we are invited to learn a different posture toward our pain.
Join us for this meaningful and interactive conversation, where we will spend time learning:
- An overview of the nervous system & why trauma matters
- An exploration of a trauma informed perspective on faith as a resource in healing
- Strategies to deepen self-compassion, resilience, and the sacred work of inhabiting our Belovedness
Hi! I'm your host, Brian.
I've been pastoring for over 20 years, and have experienced the effects of spiritual abuse and religious trauma in three different environments.
As the founder of Broken to Beloved, I'm committed to providing practical tools that move us toward healing and wholeness, and to provide trauma-informed resources and safeguarding practices to help prevent future abuse from taking place in our churches and organizations.
I'm honored to host this new event, and to meet you as we partner together to create safe spaces for those who have experienced abuse and trauma in their own lives. God calls the broken to himself and sees them as Beloved. Let's learn to do the same. Together.
